Info – How you can help

Thanks for asking! You can do any or all of the following:

  • Please register on the site so that we can stay in touch.
  • Send your own tree so that we can find where it attaches to what we have. GEDCOMS are preferable, but any format will do. We will figure out how to make the information accessible to us.
  • Send us updates for our records.
  • Send copies of any photographs of individuals, headstones, or certificates.

    1. Ideally, these files would be about 6″ wide (about 15cm) or 900px at 150dpi. These are files of about 200kb. These load easily and yet are clear enough to read the detail
  • Share your stories, either on the guest book forum, or send us an email and we will incorporate the story into your family record.
  • Check out our “desperately seeking” page to see if you can help give us information on difficult to research individuals.
  • Consider whether you can help. Whatever you chose would be welcome. The list is almost endless!

    1. Pick a website or other source and work through that, looking for details of people already on the site and/or connections with other “Hatchouel” families.
    2. Some possible interesting ones to consider:

      • Ancestry.com ( www.Ancestry.com)
      • Immigration or emigration records
      • Local or national newspaper record,
      • Tax books
      • Phone books
      • Wills
      • Prison records
      • Burial records
      • Any mailing lists
      • Family websites with Hatchouel families listed.
      • Tell your relatives!

Thank you
